Hervey Bay to Agnes Waters

The Eco Tents at Agnes Caravan park

Well guys a very relaxing week has been had, nothing new to report, Robin got his first surf in today(which is Sunday) so we have booked in for a couple of more days in the hope of more surf.   It is really tough being a surfie chick, (but someone  has to do it).   We will be moving on to either Rockhampton or Yepoon on Wednesday and then inland the following week.   So be grateful for a small blog as I am sure I will be able to bore you all in the coming weeks with our adventures.  Miss everyone heaps.   Love from R & R  & D.xxxxxx

Surfers Paradise to Hervey Bay

Pool
Well after a very enjoyable weekend last spent with Adam we then went to Rainbow Beach , one of the nicest caravan parks we have ever stayed at.   Cleanest amenities and the most gorgeous pool could stay then and relax for weeks.   Actually met a lovely kiwi couple who just happen to make their own home brew (spirits as well)  lucky me had a couple of nights on the rum with them, lucky we had to leave and come visit Adams girl and her son at Hervey Bay.   Penny and Cain live in a lovely townhouse and made us feel very welcome,  Adam organised a catch up for me with an old friend from Oberon whom I had not seen for 20 odd years, had a lovely time catching up with Jenny and Graham, and there family.   As I am writing this blog, we are looking after Cain whilst Penny is at work and Adam has returned back to Surfers.    He is one very good kid, a pleasure to have around.  We are lucky to spend time with the family before we head off into the never never.   Havent a clue where next weeks blog will come from somewhere in Qld no doubt, trying not to get to Darwin to early, plan is to get there about early May.    Will keep you posted.  Love to all.

Bonnie Hills to Surfers Paradise

Q1 building

Left Bonnie Hills on Mondays with the intention of staying at South West Rocks, but decided as the wether wasnt really great we would continue on,  we ended up at Wooli,   nice enough park , but I of course got bitten with sand flys (not happy, still suffering from the little buggers).  We left there on Wednesday and arrived at Burleigh Heads,  lovely park with real nice friendly people, had a bit of trouble finding a park that would allow dogs,   Ballina, Byron Bay allow plenty of ferals, but not dogs.

We arrived at Adams on Friday afternoon at Surfers Paridise,  he has a great apartment.  50m to the beach, 5 minute walk to the main Surfers shopping,   and the surf club just across the road, where we have just returned from having a yummy breakfast, eggs benedict for me.  yum yum.     Having a nice time catching up with my boy, and will again catch up with him next weekend at Penny and Cains at Hervey Bay.  Not a lot to report this week,   hope everyone  is well and happy,   Love from the Coops and Adam.  xxxxx

Bonnie Hills

                                                 Goanna at Caravan Park

No this is not Dawson
Having a good time at Bonnie Hills, weather average but still nice too catch up with Mel, Chris and boys, who helped us celebrate our 23rd Wedding Anniversay with a lovely baked dinner and a few wines, great night.   Tomorrow we are off to South West Rocks,  We have had a sad week this week with our good friends much loved dog Colin passing away  from cancer,  so sorry for John and Marilyn,  our thoughts are with you guys.  They had a great couple of years travelling with Colin and now have to face life on the road without him,  it just wont be the same for them.      Bye for now
